Lugansk Communists and Komsomol members paid tribute to the victims of the tragedy in Odessa today, May 2, 2016. This was stated by the leader of the Young Communist League of Lugansk, Anna Brekhova.

According to her, the Communists took part in the action “Candle of Memory,” dedicated to the second anniversary of the deaths at the Odessa House of Trade Unions.

“The events of this grim day will remain forever in our memory. Nationalists massacred peaceful protesters, among them our fellow communists and anti-fascists. And the cynicism with which the current government of Ukraine treats these events is inexcusable. We will never forget the heroes of Odessa. And we will never forgive the people who committed this crime,” commented Brekhova.
