Over a thousand concerned people came out on Monday, February 15, to the Riscani sector courthouse in Chisinau to protest against the trial of the Petrenko Group political prisoners.

As a result of unlawful actions by the police, at least 10 people were injured. In particular, during their attack, the security forces injured Nikolai Tsipovich, the vice-chair of Our Party, and several activists.
According to witnesses, although the peaceful protesters blocked the street, they showed no aggression, while police in special gear inflicted blows with batons, shields and kicks.
