“Recent events in Latin America testify to the fact that the ideas of the Great October Revolution continue to lead the masses. The victory of leftist candidates in the presidential elections in Bolivia and Argentina, mass protests in Ecuador and Chile are proof of this. At the head of the left turn in Latin America is heroic Cuba. Today, November 7, at a meeting of the UN General Assembly, the United Nations is once again discussing a resolution to end the blockade of Freedom Island by the United States. All over the world, solidarity actions are taking place collectively known as ‘No to the blockade of Cuba.’ Comrades, let’s support our Cuban brothers and join the action,” Boris Litvinov told the protesters.

After the rally, Lenin Square hosted a concert with the participation of the legendary Shakhtar Zory Orchestra and the winner of “Voice 60+” Leonid Sergienko, who was awarded a certificate from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the DPR.
