Donetsk Communist Party: Congratulations on anniversary of Great October Revolution

Dear comrades!

Please accept our sincere congratulations on the centennial of the Great October Socialist Revolution, which radically changed the course of world history. It opened the way to socialism for all humanity, destroyed the colonial system, solved the national question by uniting the peoples in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Thanks to the revolution, there was unprecedented social and scientific progress, growth of industry and agriculture, development of art and culture. Social justice, which the oppressed part of humanity dreamed of, became a fact.

The revolution of 1917 was won thanks to the union of workers and peasants, led by the Communist Party headed by Vladimir Lenin. The Bolsheviks armed the proletariat with Marxism, the tactics and strategy of class struggle. We, the communists of the Donetsk People’s Republic, believe that the introduction of class consciousness into the workers’ milieu is a paramount task. The Communist Party of the Donetsk People’s Republic has been working in this direction since the very beginning of the mass protests in Donbass.

Comrades, we are grateful to you for your help and support of the communist and anti-fascist movement of Donbass. Capital is a material force, and it must be countered with commensurate force. Only the world proletariat, led by communists, can be this force. We hope that the workers of Donbass will be a factor that will help unite the communist and workers’ parties of the whole world in the struggle against fascism and world imperialism.

Long live Great October!
Long live the cause of Great Lenin!
Workers of the world, unite!

Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Donetsk People’s Republic
