March 1: In the central square of the Indian city of Hyderabad, student activists held a rally in support of the people of Donbass.

According to Indian citizen Kondagari Ragavendra Reddy, who lives in the Lugansk People’s Republic and received an LPR passport, the action was held near the Charminar gate, which is also called the Arc de Triomphe of the East, in one of the largest industrial cities in southern India, the administrative center of Telangana state — Hyderabad.

Young people held photos showing the death and destruction in Donbass, as well as posters proclaiming “Save the people of Donbass,” “The people of Donbass not terrorists,” and “Stop shelling in Donbass.”

According to the organizers, the event aims to help call the attention of the world community to the events taking place in the Donbass region, where war continues for a third year, as the Ukrainian military shells towns and villages, while inhabitants live in fear of attacks and suffer from deprivation.

“Residents of Donbass, like all people, want peace! This is understood in India,” said Kondagari Ragavendra Reddy.
