The campaign “Books in the Service of Peace” has acquired an international character. The representative of the Workers World Party (USA) Greg Butterfield, during a meeting with the Lugansk Komsomol, gave books for school libraries in Lugansk.
This was related by the leader of the Young Communists of Lugansk, Anna Brekhova.
According to her, in two months the Komsomol has already collected more than a thousand children’s books for the libraries.
“The campaign has found a warm response from people. Most of the books collected by us are works for the school curriculum, patriotic books and teaching aids. And now there are also bilingual books in Russian and English donated by our friends from overseas,” said the leader of the Young Communists.
