On April 18 at 8.00 at the Moscow city government office, notice was filed for the “Left March” on May 1, 2016.
The applicants notified the authorities of their intention to gather on May 1 at 13.00 on Ring Boulevard at Nikitsky Gate Square (Arbatskaya Street), march on Nikitsky Boulevard and Tverskoy Boulevard, with a rally to follow in Novopushkinsky Park.
The main purpose of the “Left March” on the International Day of Workers’ Solidarity is to defend the legitimate rights and freedoms of Russian citizens, the right to work, rising resistance to fascism, support for self-determination and self-management of Donbass and the workers or the world.
The organizers emphasize their opposition to any kind of dictatorship and oppression of working people, including on ethnic and religious grounds, and consistently advocate for prisoners of conscience persecuted for political reasons, for upholding the legitimate rights of workers and citizens.
Our demands:
“Workers of all countries, unite!”
“No to fascism, no to capitalism!”
“Capitalism in Russia is the death of Russia. Free labor — free people!”
“Workers fight for their rights — in solidarity there is strength!”
“For a world without the bourgeoisie!”
“Power to the millions, not the millionaires!”
“Freedom to Sergei Udaltsov and Leonid Razvozzhaeva!”
“Freedom to political prisoners!”
