February 11: Lugansk Communists and veterans gathered and handed over humanitarian aid to the Kalinovski Gerontology Center, which specializes in medical and social support for the elderly and disabled.

“The lonely and the elderly are in need of attention, care and support. The idea to help them began before the New Year,” said Alexander Kalmykov, initiator of the effort.
“Communists and Komsomol members, together with veterans in the cities of Lugansk, Rovenek and Perevalsk, collected clothing, food, bedding and personal hygiene items for a couple of months. Today, all of this was given to the center’s chief physician, Olga Tolkunova.”
