On August 28, 2015, at 12:00 in the Darnytskyi District Court of Kiev (Sevastopolskaya, 7/13), a court hearing will be held in the case of Alexander Vasilievich Bondarchuk, editor-in-chief of Working Class and people’s deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the 3rd and 4th convocations from the Communist Party. At this session, the court plans to examine expert witnesses.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) accuses Alexander Bondarchuk of “separatism” under Article 110, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: “Deliberate acts committed for the purpose of changing the borders or territory of the state of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, as well as public incitement or distribution of materials inciting people to perpetrate such acts.”
