November 26: By order of the commander of the 2nd Army Corps, the 14th separate motorized rifle battalion “Ghost” of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic was recognized as the best territorial defense battalion in 2018 and was awarded a diploma and a pennant.

As we all know from the words of “authoritative military experts,” the “Ghost” battalion are the Makhnovists, the “Partisans” and so on. But there is one nuance, as they say. Here it is.
This is not a “participation award,” not a prize for media activity, this is an objective, to the extent possible, assessment of the activities of the battalion by the official command of the People’s Militia of the LPR. The official assessment of those very “Makhnovists” who — suddenly turned out to be excellent fighters and this year have already held back superior enemy forces advancing in their direction. A short time ago, on those very positions in Zhelobok village, where battles are constantly going on, the battalion commander recorded a small video that I planned to post along with our next reports, but it seems to me it is more appropriate here.
From myself, I would like to add a huge thank you to everyone who helps the work of the Coordination Center for Novorossiya (CCPC). All those who help us financially or transfer all sorts of useful things, equipment, help with transportation. Without all this multitude of people who sympathize with the struggle of Donbass against the Ukrainian Nazis, nothing would have happened. Whenever one of the fighters at the front thanks me personally, I reply — “It’s not me. It’s the PEOPLE.”
