Comrade Gianfranco Castellotti, Italian internationalist and friend of antifascist Donbass, was detained yesterday when police raided the Idil Culture Center in Istanbul, Turkey. Twelve Turkish activists were also arrested.
He was serving as an observer of the trial of revolutionary music group Grup Yorum by the Erdogan regime.
Gianfranco is now on a hunger strike and medicine strike in jail, despite a serious health condition.
