Odessa Requiem
On May 2, 2014, in Odessa, dozens of unarmed civilians were killed by Ukrainian nationalists. On that day, the fire that burned the House of Trade Unions also consumed the hope for peace. The country faced a wave of nationalist terror. The war, which was destined to take thousands of lives, had become inevitable.
The events of May 2 have not been investigated. None of those responsible have been punished; on the contrary, persecution was inflicted on many of the survivors, and relatives of the victims who are trying to find out the truth receive threats.
On the anniversary of the tragedy in Odessa, a concert of remembrance and solidarity will be held in Moscow, which will include representatives of different musical styles and political views.
Funds raised at the concert will be directed to the bereaved families.
Tickets are 300 rubles.
