Ukraine: Protest bloody neo-Nazi assault on Communist Youth leader!

Statement of the Central Committee of the Leninist Young Communist League (LSKM) of Ukraine

On July 13, 2016, in the village of Ljubech, Repkinsky district, Chernihiv region (electoral district № 206) a criminal attack was committed against a candidate for Parliamentary Deputy from the Communist Party of Ukraine, Mikhail Kononovich, first secretary of the Central Committee of LKSM of Ukraine.

His head was bashed with pipes and chains!

Mikhail Kononovich after being assaulted by neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

The masks are removed! No one doubts that the government authorities direct the gangs of Azov neo-Nazis and other fascist elements. There is no sense in repeating that there is no fascism in Ukraine! There is ample proof of the obvious facts that the regime denies a priori.

The regime, through the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), use “wiretapping” and surveillance to report the location of communists to the neo-fascists charged with cleansing the political environment in Ukraine. In name, the regime remains “clean,” while in reality – the authorities order killings and attacks!

We, the Central Committee of the LKSM of Ukraine, call on the international community to decisively respond to fascism in Ukraine and force the Kiev junta to stop its annihilation of dissidents, communists and antifascists.

It makes no sense to appeal for help to the authorities, for it is they who order the killings and beatings!

The Young Communist League of Ukraine appeals to the World Federation of Democratic Youth, of which we are a member.

Comrades, let us build a barricade against fascism in Ukraine!

Let us stand in defense of democracy and socialism on the planet!

No pasarán!
