Statement No. 4: InterUnit Logo
The fighters of InterUnit are involved in action in different locations, so we met just recently to decide which logo to choose for our group.
We would like to say thank you to all the designers who sent us their proposals; for us it was an honor to receive them. But we would also like to say thanks to all the voters.
As we wrote in Statement No. 2, “The final decision will be made by three electors: the Ghost Brigade, InterUnit and the popular vote.”
The popular vote went to logo No. 20, designed by Mauricio Guerrero, with 307 votes. But we felt this logo is too similar to two others that are well known here. The first is the United Nations High Commission on Refugees (UNHCR), which is very active in cooperation with our brigade. The second is the logo of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), whose delegation was in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LNR) recently.
That’s why InterUnit and the Ghost Brigade both decided to vote for logo No. 12, designed by Diego Doña Solar, our comrade from “Internacionalistas 36” who died recently. This logo came third in the popular vote. So this logo won 2 votes out of 3 and is the winner.
At our request, some small modifications were made by Diego to the proposed logo. Here is the final version:
