New Year’s greetings from Ghost Brigade Commander Y. Shevchenko

Dear soldiers and officers, comrades, friends!

I am grateful to all of the soldiers of the Ghost Brigade of A. Mozgovoi for your hard work and military feats. At this difficult time, remember that all of you have fought and worked hard to achieve a high, I would say even a great goal — for the freedom and prosperity of Novorossiya – Novorossiya as an inseparable part of the greater Russian world.

Today we celebrate the New Year 2016!

This year, as last, was difficult, filled with the bitterness of loss and the joy of victory. This year we lost our Commander Alexei Borisovich Mozgovoi, we lost our comrades. The bitterness of this loss burns in our hearts, igniting them with the flame of uncompromising struggle against Nazism. We will continue to fight for the sacred cause for which Alexei Borisovich and the rest of our comrades gave their lives!

Looking back at this year, besides the bitterness and loss, I can remember the joy of victory. In spite of everything, we were able to keep our team together as a full-fledged combat unit. This year, we became stronger, more experienced, better!

I want to say a special thank you to all those in the rear who provided support to our combat troops! Your work, your help, is the factor that helps the soldiers of the Brigade carry out their difficult service on the front lines, at the front.

Thanks to those comrades who have assisted in the collection and delivery of humanitarian assistance, to those who donated funds to support the Brigade! Thank you very much, friends, from all fighters of the Brigade!

In the New Year 2016, I wish you all success in combat and training operations, prosperity and good luck, health and happiness in your personal lives.

I wish for martial victories, and the early onset of peace. For the main purpose of any just war is the advent of peace!

Good luck and all the best to you, friends! Happy New Year!

Commander of the Ghost Brigade of Alexei Mozgovoi
Y. Shevchenko (Rostov)
