On August 30, the birthday of Andrew Brazhevsky, the Krivoy Rog* cell of Union Borotba held a rally in his memory. Borotba activists also pasted leaflets in the city in memory of the comrade who was killed by neo-Nazis at the Odessa House of Trade Unions of May 2, 2014.

The rally took place near the monument to the Krivoy Rog Komsomol operatives (the Reshetnyak group) who were murdered by German Nazis during World War II.

Today, Andrew would have been 28 years old, but he was deprived of the opportunity to celebrate his birthday because he actively resisted the dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. We will not forget, we remember! And to remember means to fight!
*Translator’s note: Krivoy Rog is Ukraine’s 8th largest city, located in the fascist-occupied Dnipropetrovsk region. It was part of the 1918 Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic, the precursor to today’s Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics and the projected anti-fascist state of Novorossiya.
