Pioneer youth organization established in Makeyevka, Donetsk

On May 19 in Makeyevka, a solemn rally was held devoted to establishing the Pioneer organization of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR). The initiator of the event was Deputy of the DNR National Soviet Boris Litvinov, reported the state media correspondent.

“You are the first Pioneers of the Republic. Many years from now, you will be proud to have been the first. You swear an oath to the great Pioneers of the past, in this year of the 70th anniversary of Victory and the 1st anniversary of the Republic,” Boris Litvinov explained.

Today, the Pioneer organization has more than 50 members among the pupils at School №18. 

“Youth organizations should be created at the school level. This is to ensure that people brought up as necessary for our young Republic,” said Olga Grazhdankina, director of School №18. 

The event was also attended by representatives of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
