On April 24, Lenin Square in central Donetsk hosted a rock concert dedicated to the International Day of Solidarity with Youth.
In addition to local groups from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DNR), there were guests from Russia: Vadim Samoilov (ex-member of the group Agatha Christie), 7-б, and Yulia Chicherina.
It’s worth noting that the concert was given not only for young people in the Donetsk capital, but also from other cities of the republic, and DNR authorities organized transportation for them.
To ensure order during the concert in central Donetsk, the sale of alcohol was banned in the morning. However, whoever seeks shall always find, and in the evening some “music lovers” were already in a very “buoyant” mood.
During her speech, Yulia Chicherina said that she wanted to dedicate one of her most popular songs, “My Rock ‘n’ Roll,” to the Donbass. “I’ll sing you a beautiful song that I want to dedicate to the Donbass and everyone here!” said the singer.
