Fascists destroy three Soviet monuments in Krivoy Rog

On Sunday night, February 8, in Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, three monuments to figures of Soviet times were toppled: Artem, Felix Dzerzhinsky and Karl Liebknecht.
The police were unable to provide additional information about the incident.
However, the page of the local Right Sector bragged that it had “destroyed monuments of the totalitarian regime,” together with Svoboda, the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, Ingul Palanca, Autonomous Resistance and Avtomaydanom.
Right Sector brags of desecrating antifascist monuments.
As reported by Korrespondent.net, in late January monuments to Vladimir Lenin and Pavel Postyshev were destroyed in Kharkov.
In the past year, 504 monuments to Lenin were demolished in Ukraine.  Ukraine has about 1,700 monuments to the leader of the proletariat. In the New Year, demolition of monuments throughout Ukraine continues.
Nazis destroy & deface statue of Artem, founder of Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic

Translator’s note: Antifascists believe the latest attack was retaliation for a recent proclamation of the Donetsk People’s Republic declaring its historic ties to the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic, founded on February 12, 1918. Artem was the leader of the Donetsk-Krivoy Rog Soviet Republic until its destruction by German occupation forces allied with the Ukrainian capitalists.
