Odessa protesters demand: Stop the war in Donbass, restore social justice!

In Odessa, an anti-war demonstration was held January 21, whose participants demanded that the Ukrainian leadership end the bloodshed in the Donbass, stop the looting of the country and the impoverishment of the population. The event was attended by more than 100 residents.
Organizers, including the All-Ukrainian Union of Soviet Officers, representatives of the Communist Party and other movements, brought signs and banners to the Regional State Administration building declaring, “No to war in Ukraine,” “Down with the government,” “Stop listening to overseas puppeteers,” “Stop the genocide,” “No rise in prices and tariffs,” and other anti-government slogans.
Speakers addressing the rally expressed outrage that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a budget for 2015 that promises impoverishment of the people. They adopted an appeal to the President, Government and Parliament of Ukraine with demands to stop the war, increase pensions and salaries in line with the actual inflation rates, and stop the growth of tariffs and prices in the country.
